Somatic Support

Listen to the body before instructing it.

A slow, attentive practice for nervous-system support and stress management.

Somatic Therapy support
a quiet still-life — the somatic support space.

the approach

What is somatic support?

In a world that encourages us to "push through," Somatic Support offers a different path: slowing down to feel. When you live with chronic stress, burnout, or anxiety, your nervous system often gets stuck in protective patterns. You might feel "on" all the time, or checked out and dissociated.

My work is trauma-informed and nervous-system aware. We don't start by changing your movement; we start by expanding your capacity to be with your own experience. Through somatic inquiry, body-mind dialogue, and naming, we work to identify how your history lives in your tissues. This is a process of titration — navigating small, manageable amounts of sensation so your system can process what it has been holding without becoming overwhelmed.

Depending on what your system needs in the moment, we may use self-touch, guided breath, and specific somatic tools to help you process trapped sensations — always at your pace and under your total control. This is a space where you don't need to perform — it is a space for co-regulation, helping you relearn what safety feels like in your own skin.

who it's for

This work is for you if…

  • You often feel "stuck" in a cycle of stress, anxiety, or overwhelm.
  • You want to move beyond just talking about your feelings and learn how to process them through your body.
  • You are looking to develop somatic literacy — learning to name and navigate your body's sensations, thoughts, and emotions.
  • You want to learn how to support your nervous system so you can find steadiness in your daily life.

ready when you are

Ready to move from bracing to being?

You don't need to trust me or the process right away. You only need to be curious about whether your body can feel a little bit safer than it does right now. If you're ready to explore what it feels like to let your nervous system stand down at your own pace, I'm here to hold that space for you.
